The Minister and Board Members of the Center for Metaphysical Fellowship (CMF) church of Sarasota, Florida welcome you to this website. In May 2006 we moved to our current facility at 2044 Bispham Road, Sarasota, FL and began holding Worship Services every Sunday at 10:30AM (click here for directions). In addition to the sermon and wonderful music, each Worship Service also includes a Spiritual Healing period and a Spirit Message period.
Our organization was founded in 2003 by life-long Metaphysicians in the Sarasota, Florida community, T.R. and Eileen Flexer Courtney. Our CMF Minister, Rev. Jean C. Courtney, is also a healer, counselor and teacher of metaphysics. We routinely schedule capable and energetic members to serve as lay speakers, message bearers and class instructors. This practice not only provides developmental opportunities for those individuals but also affords the congregation a broad range of ideas from varying experiences of the different speakers.
We have a very active and effective Prayer Outreach Program (POP) utilizing a group of volunteers who individually meditate daily, and offer prayers for 7 days in a row, for those whose names are placed on the “Request For Healing” list. Requests for healing may be made to the list at the Sunday worship services, by calling the church phone number (941-266-8435), or by sending an email to us at worship@cmfsarasota.org .
Several of the specific purposes of our organization include:- To unite people of like faith for the purpose of meeting together to worship God and promote the teachings of the Scriptures by the dissemination of metaphysical truths as given by the life, teachings and demonstrations of the Master Jesus.
- To provide for the needy and foster charitable work in keeping with the financial abilities of the Corporation, and
- To issue publications and other materials to Members and the public which reinforce and promote the philosophy of Christian Metaphysics.
We encourage you to browse the remainder of our website and to attend our Sunday Worship Service and our Healing & Meditation Circle on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, in the very near future. We believe you will find comfort and the opportunity to further develop your oneness with the God Spirit.
